Southview Camping now closed upon Vivienne's retirement

Serving campers since the 1940's

Southview is a small family run traditional campsite set in the quiet countryside of north east Kent. Pitches for tents, touring caravans and motor homes with hook-up electricity, clean toilet facilities, free showers, together with laundry equipment and dishwashing sinks.

Set in three acres of level, well drained meadow, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside whilst still only being within a few miles of the cathedral city of Canterbury or the beautiful beaches of the Isle of Thanet. The Channel ports of Dover, Folkestone and Ramsgate are only a short drive away, linking the continent of Europe.

Also just a few miles away is the picturesque harbour town of Whitstable which is home to a wonderful selection of independent shops and cafes, seafood restaurants and in July, the Oyster Festival.

There are many scenic cycling routes and interesting country walks locally such as the Saxon Walk and the Crab & Winkle Trail, as well as an excellent public house, The Prince of Wales, serving superb food throughout the week just 150 metres from our park.

Access to Southview is simple from the A28 or the new coastal A299. So sorry no dogs or naughty children
